Help Center

Let's sort it out.

Almost everything — passwords, membership, billing, course access, profiles, plans and downloads — can be handled here in a minute or two.

Account access

Creating an account, signing in, passwords and closing an account.

I've forgotten my password

Go to the sign-in page and choose “Forgot your password?”. Enter the email address on your Selfey account and we'll email you a reset link.

Open the link on the same device if you can, choose a new password of at least 8 characters, and you'll be signed straight back in. Reset links expire after a short time — if yours has expired, simply request another.

Reset my password →
The reset email hasn't arrived

Check your spam or promotions folder first, and search for “Selfey”. Delivery usually takes under a minute.

Make sure you're using the exact email address you signed up with. If it still hasn't arrived after ten minutes, send a support request using the Account category below.

It says my credentials are invalid

That message appears when the email or the password doesn't match an existing account. If you're not sure you ever finished creating an account, choose “Create an account” and use the same email — you'll be told if one already exists.

If you're confident the account exists, reset your password rather than guessing repeatedly.

How do I change my email address or close my account?

Both are in the Account area when you're signed in. Closing an account is permanent: it removes your account record and ends access to anything purchased with it.

Membership + billing

Plans, prices, upgrades, cancellation, receipts and payment methods.

What do the memberships cost?

Selfey is $19 USD per month and Selfey+ is $39 USD per month. Both are monthly with no annual commitment. There is also a Free tier so you can explore before deciding.

Compare memberships →
How do I cancel, or change my payment method?

Membership, payment method, receipts and cancellation are all handled through the billing portal linked in your Account area. Cancelling stops future renewals and you keep access until the end of the month you've paid for.

Manage membership →
Where are my receipts and invoices?

Our payment provider emails a receipt for every charge, and every past invoice is available in the billing portal from your Account area.

Can I get a refund?

Except where required by applicable law, purchases are final and non-refundable. Genuine billing errors — such as a duplicate charge — are always corrected.

Courses

Buying a $49 course, finding it again and course access.

Are courses included in my membership?

No. Selfey Courses are separate products at $49 USD each, bought once and kept permanently. Membership covers the ongoing Selfey experience — Journal, Tools, Science, My Selfey and, on Selfey+, personalization.

Browse courses →
I bought a course — where is it?

Purchased courses appear in My Courses inside My Selfey, and on the course page itself, where the button changes to Start or Continue. Make sure you're signed in with the account you purchased on.

Open My Selfey →
Do I lose my course if I cancel my membership?

No. A purchased course belongs to your account permanently, with or without a membership.

Where does a course pick up from?

Selfey remembers the last lesson you opened on that device and Continue Course returns you there. You can also jump to any module from the course roadmap.

Profiles + Self-Care Evaluations

Adding family profiles, switching between them and completing Self-Care Evaluations.

How do Selfey Profiles work?

One account holds the membership; each profile holds a person's self-care experience. Free includes 1 profile, Selfey up to 3 and Selfey+ up to 6.

Self-Care Evaluations, plans, Guides, saves and history belong to the profile that was active when they were created — a teen's Selfey never appears inside an adult's.

Who answers a Child or Teen Self-Care Evaluation?

You choose at the start: the young person answering for themselves, a parent or caregiver answering about them, or the two of you together. Selfey changes both the questions and the language, and never presents a caregiver's observation as though the child said it.

How long does a Self-Care Evaluation take?

Around three to five minutes. You can type in your own words wherever you want to — that free text is what makes your Selfey Snapshot feel like yours rather than generic advice.

What is the Selfey Self-Care Evaluation?

The Selfey Self-Care Evaluation is a structured self-reflection across Mind, Body, Rest, Connection, Joy and Life. Questions differ for adults, teens and children, and your responses create a personalized Selfey Snapshot showing what feels supported and what may deserve more attention right now. It is a self-care reflection tool, not a clinical, psychological or diagnostic assessment.

Plans + downloads

Self-Care Evaluations, Selfey Snapshots, Selfey Plans, PDFs and printing.

What's the difference between the Self-Care Evaluation and my Selfey Plan?

The Self-Care Evaluation is the structured six-area reflection, and it produces your Selfey Snapshot. Tell Selfey — sharing what's happening right now in your own words — is what produces your Selfey Plan: a personalized visual plan with practical ideas, tools, reads and reminders that fit where you are right now.

A download or PDF didn't work

Selfey PDFs are generated in your browser, so a very old browser or a blocked pop-up can stop them. Allow downloads for this site, then try again from the same page.

On iPhone and iPad, the file opens in a viewer first — use the share icon to save it to Files or Books.

My plan didn't generate

Reopen Tell Selfey and share what's happening once more. Plans are built on your own device, so a lost connection mid-way can interrupt it. If it happens twice, send a support request with the details of what you were using.

Where do my saved things live?

Everything you keep — plans, Guides, articles, tools and quotes — is stored on the device you're using and gathered in My Selfey under the profile that saved it. Clearing your browser data will remove it.

Common technical problems

When a page, image or feature isn't behaving.

A page won't load or looks broken

Refresh once, then try a hard refresh. Selfey supports current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge; private-browsing modes can block the local storage Selfey uses to keep your plans.

I paid but I don't have access

Sign out and back in — entitlements are checked when your session starts. If access still isn't there after that, send a support request using Membership + billing and include the date of purchase.

Something feels wrong in the content

Tell us. Selfey is therapist-informed and we take accuracy seriously — use the Content category below and name the piece.

Technical support

Still stuck? Send us the details.

This is for genuine account, payment, entitlement, download or site problems — things an answer above couldn't fix. Tell us what you were doing and what happened, and we'll work through it.

Selfey support handles the product, not personal advice. Selfey is therapist-informed self-care education, not therapy or crisis support — if you need urgent help, contact your local emergency services or a crisis line.

Use the email address on your Selfey account so we can find it.
